Sitting in a posh townside restaurant MEERA looked into her mirror that she always carried in her vanity bag,the kholed eyes ,the shiny skin &the hazelnut coloured hair just looked perfect but the imperfection beyond her derma was irritating her.she looked outside the window to cath a glimpse of the setting sun it was so beautiful,"if only my life could be so sereen"she wondered, after six years of laison & four years of marriage the only thing SHYAM could offer her was"NO TIME".In the begening everything was so lovey dovey & good (as usual).But after all these years the SHYAM-MEERA lovestory could be best described by a bottle of crystal clear champagne which opens with a big spurt & slowly subsides.They met in their college & one thing led to another & finally they were married.
Ambitious & workoholic as SHYAM was,he never had much time for anything except work.It was managable by Meera in the begining but those unkempt promises & failed dinners took its toll over her .Afterall no amount of girl friends & well wishers can fill in the space of a loving partner.But after all this depressing mode MEERA is finally goin to have her promised dinner with........AAKAASH.
She & AAKAASH became familiar by chatting on the net & after one year of chating they both realised that they were lonely & had finally found a FRIEND.MEERA was amazed at how AAKAASH could understand her so well(once upon a time as SHYAM did). She never included SHYAM in their convo &nor did he include the third person even if there was some one. Though the chat world is totally superficial she some how belived him.And after one year ,they were finally meeting today in this plush restaurant.
Shifting her gaze from the setting sun she looked at her watch There was still 20 minutes for the dinner to begin,But she did feel guilty about this deep down her heart ."what will shyam think if he ever finds out?"she wondered .But she quitened her conscience by blaming SHYAM for all this.She started thinking about AAKAASH,soon he would come in his blue pinstripped shirt as mentioned and soon she would meet her savior of those lonely times.
she did see some guy with a blue shirt enter the restaurant .And he did come at the promised time & finally when he reached the table MEERA was shocked to see that her pin stripped hero was..........................SHYAM.
