A poem....

Under the gaze of the silvery moonlit night,
Did the two estranged lovers finally meet
Ages had passed before this encounter,
And it felt the whole world was at their greet.

Soul mates as the great philosophers say,
Or just destiny as put forth by many
Even after spending their whole lives apart,
Today at last they had each others company.

In the past there was nothing that led them away,
It was indeed their own decision to part
They dint know they were meant to be together then,
In spite of the strong connections of their hearts.

When they first met there were no sparks flying,
Just two pieces of puzzle joint perfectly together
In spite of this perfect togetherness they shared,
They considered each other just like any other.

By choice,from each other far away they went,
And spent their lives as they thought was best
It seemed all near perfect from far,
But their inner soul was not at rest.

Known it is when you have something,
That 'something' you do not value or care
Only when it is gone forever,
Does your heart remind you of the unbreakable bond you share.

But destiny as put forth by many,
Or soul mates as the great philosophers say
Life always comes back a full circle,
Even if one is miles away.

After years of separation and longing,
Facing all odds & giving the whole world a fight
The two estranged lovers finally meet,
Under the gaze of the silvery moonlit night.

The stranger in my life...

Along the paved adventurous road of life
Walking were i and my soul all alone,
Though on the way there was happiness and strive
In the midst, my heart could call no one its own.

Like in the miraculous world of fairy land,
A stranger tip toed into my way;
It felt as if an angel had moved his magical wand
And the whole world was dancing on a rhythmic sway.

He bought along with him , his treasure and trove,
Which were filled with unconditional love and care;
Also were his enchanting tales of before
Which on sounding familiar my own stories i shared.

Calm and soothing like the first droplets of rain,
The presence of this now familiar stranger felt;
He took away my every traces of pain
And made the guarding walls of my heart melt.

This stranger made me feel over the sun,
With whom i felt so happy and carefree
My lonely heart had finally found someone,
Who knew one day this stranger would mean my life to me.
